Stockholm Bridge

All about the buttons...

These photos are a little long-coming... but as I've finally got a day off I thought I would try to put them up. So, these are just a few from when Fred and I went to Stockholm. We had such a great day. The train was practically empty, it was sunny, not too crowded, beautiful, wonderful and lovely. We ate McDonalds, walked by the water, did a little shopping, looked at some art... oh, and Fred even found some vintage military buttons that he is going to put onto his brown peacoat (to give it a new lease on life). It was such a great day...

Thanks Freddy!

Freddy is in Turin, Italy at a conference. Which is great because he is giving his first proper talk, but also sad because today is our four year anniversary! Pretty crazy...

This is what I got in the post today.

A fruit basket hamper for four years! Thanks Freddy!

When I woke up...

I usually have Saturdays off. And, I usually try to make sure the house is beautiful and clean for Saturdays. The last thing I want to do on my day off is spend half the day cleaning the house. But today, this is what I woke up to. The house was already not very tidy - and that was just as much my fault as Freddy's. However, the certain explosion that took place in the living room was not my fault at all. A certain someone was trying to find a certain small card this morning before leaving to go rowing... needless to say I didn't wake up to a beautiful clean house this Saturday, but I'm working on it.

We are leaving for Sweden in the morning. Which means one week of no work...

The weather forecast is predicting sunny weather all week and that means plans of nothing but laying in the sun. I am sure we'll make our way to Stockholm one day, go sailing, swim in the lake and eat lots of sour candy.

I can not wait.

p.s. my ebay takings stands at about 150 GBP so far. i am very happy with that, seeing as everything i have sold is old and i haven't worn for a few years. i've still got another 13 items left to sell.... will keep you updated on my progress!
