pop up garden...

We came across this pop up garden last weekend in Ealing Broadway. There wasn't anyone there to protect it and it was very difficult to resist stuffing our bags full of flowers and herbs...

last night it was meera's 23rd birthday so it only seemed fitting to go hang out in a caravan and pretend to be in mexico. barrio north had such a great atmosphere - definitely a perfect choice for a celebration. happy birthday meera! hope 23 is the best year yet...

sunny at 7, raining at 11...

gorgeous blue sky in london today... i pulled the blinds open at Emerald's flat on portobello road and immediately woke up. we headed off to Brick Lane to people watch and check out the vintage shops.

my latte was decorated with a heart.

rails of vintage dresses all for 22 quid... Emerald got that red one with the white swirly pattern. so cute.

Brick Lane and the surrounding area is covered in graffiti. it somehow manages to avoid looking trashy and outdated and instead just adds to the charm.

of course in traditional english style the clouds came in and it started pouring with rain... we took it as a sign that it was time to head off. but of course not before the wretched rain flipped emerald's umbrella inside out!

early one saturday morning emerald and i hit up this little beautiful london location for some breakfast. not only do they make a mean meal but they've got a seriously charming little selection of goodies to tempt you on your wait out. really lovely.
